Amber Anderson, DO, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. She is dedicated to helping athletes and active individuals return to peak performance through advanced surgical and nonsurgical care. She also has experience caring for youth sports athletes, offering specialized treatment that supports a safe and successful return to play.
Dr. Anderson’s clinical interests include the diagnosis and treatment of sports-related injuries, arthroscopic procedures, shoulder arthroplasty, and comprehensive orthopaedic care for patients of all ages and activity levels. She is committed to providing personalized treatment plans that prioritize recovery, function, and long-term joint health.
Education
Dr. Anderson earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2019. She completed her orthopedic surgery residency at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio, where she received training in the full spectrum of orthopedic care.
In 2025, Dr. Anderson completed a fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine at the University of Connecticut, where she gained advanced expertise in arthroscopic techniques, soft-tissue reconstruction, and athletic injury management.
