Daniel Lo, DO, is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in adult hip and knee reconstruction. He also manages orthopaedic trauma and urgent sports injuries. As a graduate of Aultman Hospital’s orthopaedic surgery residency program in Canton, he has a deep, direct familiarity with the orthopaedic needs of Stark County before he ever joined OrthoUnited.
Dr. Lo uses muscle-sparing techniques for hip and knee replacement, designed to reduce trauma to surrounding tissue, shorten recovery time, and lower reliance on narcotics after surgery. For many patients in Canton, North Canton, Massillon, and the surrounding communities, this means advanced joint reconstruction, robotics-assisted options, and same-day outpatient surgery are available close to home, without the added time and cost of traveling to Cleveland or Columbus for comparable fellowship-level care.
Education
Dr. Lo earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2019. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Aultman Hospital, where he received extensive training in both clinical and surgical management of orthopedic conditions.
He completed an Adult Reconstruction Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship at Ortho San Antonio, with a focus on complex hip and knee arthroplasty procedures and trauma call, including care for sports-related injuries at local schools.
