Ira Richterman, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hand and wrist surgery with a special interest in tendon and nerve procedures as well as complex hand and wrist reconstruction.
Dr. Richterman is married to wife, Kim, a licensed pharmacist and they have two children, Bailey and Zachary. He has many outside interests including landscaping, construction and ice hockey.
Education
Dr. Richterman graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University, received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, NY and served his residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. Additionally, he earned a fellowship in hand, upper extremity and microvascular surgery from Brown University at Rhode Island Hospital. While at Brown University, Dr. Richterman also was a clinical instructor for the School of Medicine.
