Meghan Nein, MD is a board-certified anesthesiologist and board-certified, fellowship-trained chronic pain physician. Dr. Nein prioritizes ongoing education and the adoption of advanced technologies that can help her produce better results for her patients. She is now offering the Intracept® Procedure for the treatment of vertebrogenic pain, a distinct type of chronic lower back pain caused by damage to vertebral endplates. As of June 2024, Dr. Nein is the only surgeon offering this procedure within an 40-mile radius.
Education
Dr. Nein has a Master of Science degree and earned her medical degree at Chicago Medical School. She completed an internship in general surgery as well as residency in anesthesiology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Following this, she completed a fellowship in chronic pain management at the Cleveland Clinic where she was mentored by world-renowned physicians within the field and learned cutting-edge techniques, including the latest methods in interventional management and neuromodulation.
