Dr. Eschbaugh joined OrthoUnited in September 2018. Having completed a fellowship focusing solely on complex shoulder and elbow problems, Dr. Eschbaugh is particularly skilled in these areas. His surgical expertise includes reverse shoulder replacement, total shoulder replacement, minimally invasive rotator cuff repair, arthroscopic shoulder surgery, shoulder instability, shoulder and elbow fracture management, and other complex problems.
Dr. Eschbaugh strives to treat every patient like he would treat his own family members, with respect and compassion.
Outside of the operating room, Dr. Eschbaugh enjoys spending time with his wife, Julie, and their three daughters. He also enjoys reading, playing golf, skiing, and bowhunting.
Education
Born and raised in Marietta, Ohio, he graduated from Marietta High School and received his undergraduate degree in Athletic Training from Marietta College. He attended Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 2012, before completing five years of Orthopedic Surgery residency at Grandview Hospital and Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. His final year of surgical training was a one-year shoulder and elbow fellowship at Cleveland Clinic under the direction of Dr. Eric Ricchetti and Dr. Joseph Iannotti.
